PITCH BLACK SERIES:
These calls feature a newly specified “pitch black” latex and the results are impressive. They are built off of the popular AMP frame and come in a three pack.
Pitch Black 1: Has a looser stretch for easy cow calls and all of the bull vocalizations. Very easy to use and quiet when needed.
Pitch Black 2: Has a medium stretch similar to the popular Maverick and Phelps Signature diaphragms. This is a do it all call.
Pitch Black 3: Stretched tight for ear piercing location bugles as well as higher pitched cow/calf sounds. The best thing about this call is the life you get out of it.

Triple threat!

I use the pitch black series in a number of instances. For cow calls using the pitch black 1 and using pitch black 2, and 3 for bugles and mature cow calls. Great triple to have in your reed holder

Top quality calls

Let's just be honest, does phelps even know how to make a bad call. I'm pretty sure I've used every elk call phelps has over the last several years and I've been able to get some sort of success out of it. Great quality calls when used in the right scenarios.

I will be buying more of these!

I had tried several other popular brands before these, I'm brand new to mouth calling and these were easier to make good sounds with than any others I tried. I shot my first bull and actually called him in with these during RIFLE season, couldnt believe it. Thanks Phelps!

Rookie elk caller can use these, you can too

These are my first elk diaphragms. I've used turkey calls before, but using these are not at all similar. After watching one video and practicing on my daily commute to and from work for 2 days I'm able to produce an elk bugle and cow call. You'll never mistake the sound of my call for Jason's, but it's a start. What's the point of that? These are well made and very useable - I went from nothing to a bugle in probably 2 hours.
