From zero experience to bulls replying in short order

I am a complete noob when it comes to calling elk. I purchased the AMP Orange diaphragm and watched one video that explained how to position the call in my mouth. I was able to make elk sounds right away. After several hours of practice the sounds were convincing enough to motivate a couple of bulls to return my first calls in the field. I was stoked. I clearly need to learn the language and communication style of elk as the initial reply was all I got from the bulls. I feel like it is a great start and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
