Good but not the same

Phelps turkey calls were always my go to ,fit my mouthThe best and this cut was always my favorite been buying them for years. But the quality has gone downhill in the last couple years. This year I bought a few to get me through the season like I always do but the cut is just deeper than it used to be years ago and the call seems less crisp and reactive than they used to be. Years ago this used to have a real tight small cut now the cut goes way back and the call overall just doesn’t seem as easy to play. I don’t know if they changed materials or if it is how they cut the call but definitely not as good. Still my favorite as far as mouth fit that’s why I keep buying them, but disappointed in the loss of quality sound.

I've bought one every year for the past 3 years.

The only mouth call I use! Used it for both birds in the first week of Va turkey season.

Product is not what I thought it would be.

This product is great if you just want soft clucks and purrs. However, I can't get that sharp cut out of it. It is not loud enough to get that high start of the cluck and that sharp break at the end.
